"I recently spent a weekend in Amsterdam and during the 2 hour wait at Schipol Airport for our return flight to the UK I discovered Back to Life - a wonderful back massage centre. For around £18 I got a 20 minute massage, the effects of which kept me going for days afterwards. Actually, just thinking about it makes me feel relaxed! They also offered Aquamassage, which I've tried in the past and makes you feel like you're walking on air!

Look out for similar things near you - they're well worth a try. Go on, treat yourself!"

"I recommend the Sun Run walk training program for relaxing fitness. It starts really slowly, has a lot of weekly information on health tips and before you know it you are able to walk 10K.

You don't have to go in the Sun Run if you don't like crowds, but you'll be fit by the time Spring arrives. It's a lot easier to do the fitness program (held all over BC) than try to get motivated on your own."

"Here's a relaxation tip that will really work. Upon wakening each morning, open your eyes, take one deep breath and LAUGH OUT LOUD, loudly, from way down in your core. Do it three times and see the difference in your day. (Your dog may look at you as if you have gone round the bend)."
